Short version: browsing the Site is free and needs no account. Paid work only starts after a written quote is accepted and the advance is paid. Two revision rounds are included. You own the final videos once they are paid for.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of lobhdhomne.vercel.app and any domain that points to it (the "Site"), and to video editing and development services provided by Lobh Dhomne, trading as LBD Media Services, a sole proprietorship in India ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services. If a signed agreement or accepted quote for a project says something different from these terms, the signed agreement or quote wins for that project.

2. Definitions

  • Client: the person or business that books a service.
  • Client Materials: footage, audio, images, logos, scripts, fonts and anything else the Client provides.
  • Deliverables: the final exported videos or software described in the quote.
  • Project Files: editing timelines, project files, templates, presets and source files we create while working.
  • Quote: the written price, scope and timeline we send for a project, by email or document.

3. Using the Site

You may browse the Site and share links to it. You agree not to:

  • try to hack, overload, scan or disrupt the Site or its hosting;
  • copy, scrape or republish Site content, including email addresses, without written permission;
  • use the brief form or email links to send spam, malware, abusive messages or unlawful content;
  • pretend to be someone else when contacting us.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the Site at any time without notice.

4. Services

Through LBD Media we offer video editing, including long-form YouTube edits, Shorts and Reels, gaming videos, and brand or advertising videos. We also take on software development work. Descriptions on the Site are a general guide. The exact scope of each project is set out in its Quote.

We may decline any project, including projects that involve content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Quotes and bookings

  • A Quote is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise.
  • A booking is confirmed when you accept the Quote in writing (email or message is enough) and we receive the advance payment.
  • Delivery dates in a Quote start from the day we receive both the advance and all Client Materials.
  • Work that is not listed in the Quote is extra work. We will tell you the price first and only start once you agree.

6. Fees and payment

  • Unless the Quote says otherwise, 50% of the fee is due before work starts and the remaining 50% before final Deliverables are released. New clients or small projects may be asked to pay 100% in advance.
  • Monthly packages are paid in advance at the start of each month.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless the Quote states another currency. GST is added where we are required to charge it. International clients pay any bank or transfer charges on their side.
  • Invoices are due within 7 days. Late amounts may attract interest of 1.5% per month, and we may pause work until the account is up to date. Deadlines move by the length of any pause.
  • Paid assets you ask for (premium music, stock footage, fonts, plugins) are charged at cost after your approval.
  • If you deduct TDS, please deposit it on time and send us the certificate.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Send all Client Materials in an organised shared folder, with any brand guidelines and reference videos.
  • Confirm that you own or have permission to use all Client Materials, including music, trademarks, and the image and voice of every person who appears in them.
  • Give feedback within 7 days of receiving a draft. If we hear nothing within 7 days, the draft is treated as approved.
  • Name one person who can approve work and make decisions.
  • Keep your own backups of original footage. We are not a storage service.

8. Revisions

  • Each Deliverable includes two rounds of revisions. One round is one list of changes sent together, ideally with timestamps.
  • Extra rounds are charged at the rate in the Quote.
  • Changes to the brief after editing starts (new footage, a new script, a different style or length) count as extra work, not revisions.

9. Delivery and files

  • Deliverables are sent by download link in the formats listed in the Quote, after full payment. Previews before payment may be watermarked or low resolution.
  • We keep Client Materials and Project Files for 60 days after final delivery, then may delete them. Re-edits after that may need to be quoted as new work.
  • Project Files are not included in the fee unless the Quote says so. They can be bought separately.
  • You are responsible for checking Deliverables within 7 days and telling us about any technical fault (for example a wrong resolution or audio drop). We will fix genuine technical faults free of charge.

10. Ownership and licences

  • You keep all rights in your Client Materials. You give us a limited licence to use them only to carry out your project.
  • Once the related invoice is paid in full, you own the Deliverables and may use them for any lawful purpose. Until then, all rights stay with us.
  • We keep ownership of our Project Files, templates, presets, graphics, methods and know-how, and may reuse general techniques in other work.
  • Licensed music, stock footage and fonts remain owned by their creators and are used under their licence terms. Some licences cover only the platform or use stated in the Quote.
  • For development work, code ownership and any open-source components are set out in the Quote.

11. Portfolio use

After your video is publicly released, we may show it, or short clips from it, in our showreel, on the Site and on social media, unless you tell us in writing before the project starts that the work is confidential. We will never show unreleased work.

12. Confidentiality

Both sides agree to keep private any non-public information shared during a project, such as unreleased footage, business plans, analytics or pricing, and to use it only for the project. This continues for 2 years after the project ends. It does not apply to information that is already public or that must be disclosed by law.

13. Cancellations and refunds

  • You may cancel a project by email at any time.
  • If you cancel before any editing has started, we refund the advance minus any costs already paid for your project.
  • If you cancel after editing has started, the advance is non-refundable and you pay for any work completed beyond the value of the advance. We will hand over the work completed so far once this is settled.
  • Monthly packages can be cancelled with 7 days' notice before the next billing date. The current month is not refunded.
  • We may end a project if payment is more than 15 days late, if Client Materials are not provided within 30 days of booking, or if the project breaks section 4. In that case you pay for work done up to that point.
  • If we cancel for a reason that is not your fault, we refund any amount paid for work we have not done.

14. Site content and third-party media

Text, logos, graphics, photos and videos on the Site belong to Lobh Dhomne or are used with permission. Third-party video content, game footage, music and branded assets may appear in reference or commentary material; their owners retain rights and their own terms may apply.

YouTube is operated by Google. When you watch videos through embedded players or on YouTube, YouTube's own terms apply.

15. Disclaimers

We provide the Site as it is and as available. We try to keep it accurate and online but do not promise it will always be error-free, secure or available. We do our best on every project, but we cannot promise any particular number of views, subscribers, sales or other results, because those depend on many things outside our control, including platform algorithms.

16. Limitation of liability

  • Our total liability for any claim about a project is limited to the fees you actually paid for that project.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost revenue, lost views or followers, lost business opportunities, or loss of data you did not back up.
  • We are not liable for copyright claims, strikes, demonetisation or takedowns caused by Client Materials or by instructions you gave us.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for fraud.

17. Indemnity

You agree to cover any loss, claim or cost (including reasonable legal fees) we face because Client Materials you supplied infringe someone else's rights, or because you broke these terms or the law.

18. Events outside our control

Neither side is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, hardware failure, illness, natural disasters, or government action. The affected side will inform the other as soon as possible, and deadlines will move by a reasonable amount.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, both sides will first try to settle it by talking in good faith for at least 15 days. If that fails, the dispute will be handled by the competent courts at the place where LBD Media Services is registered, unless a signed agreement names a different place. Consumers keep any rights they have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

20. General

  • These terms, together with any Quote or signed agreement, are the full agreement between us about a project.
  • If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean we have given it up.
  • You may not transfer your rights under a project to someone else without our written agreement.
  • We are an independent business, not your employee or agent.
  • We may update these terms. Changes do not affect projects already confirmed, unless both sides agree.
